WANTED: Marketing Agents and Customer Representatives
If you are interested in developing an internet career, please consider working with us.
You can work fulltime or parttime, work at home or office, or take on a mobile lifestyle.
You do not need to be an expert in web design. In fact, "techies" are often the worst kind of people for marketing and dealing with customers. We can teach you all that you need to know about web design, here in this Affiliates section, after you get a username and password.
You must enjoy working with people of diverse kinds, especially small business owners and executives of large businesses -- the people who make decisions about websites and internet marketing, and the people who are usually involved in conceptual design.
Most high level people do not understand techie talk -- and don't want to know! Non-technical people are often the best because they can see the internet from the viewpoint of customers, and won't "lose" them in techie talk.
If you can speak the language of internet business, such as "a brochure website", "internet kiosk", "drive customers to your website", "usability", etc., then you're at least halfway there. You don't need to know HTML, JavaScript, and all those acronyms, though we can teach you basically what they are about.
More importantly, we can teach you about website conceptual design ... from the viewpoint of the customer, who generally knows little technically, and doesn't need to know.
Your role is to find customers and interface with them -- at the top level.
Our role is to be your "back office".
Tasks you will outsource to us:
- artwork
- programming
Tasks you can either do yourself or outsource to us:
- researching your customer's competition on the internet for ideas
- website conceptual design
- text content writing
Tasks you must do yourself, not us:
- finding customers
- meeting with customers
- picking up any photos to scan
- picking up brochures and other marketing materials
How much you do on your end, vs. how much we do over here, is up to you.
Regarding payment, you are the boss and in control. We can suggest prices, but you are free to make as much as you want and we don't need to know. We will have our offshore price, and the difference is your profit. You will collect money from the customer, then pay us.
Typically, we require one-third payment in advance from overseas customers, though we can waive this for established relationships. The second one-third comes as a "progress payment" after the website artistic design and layout are approved along with text content (about 80% of the work is done), and the final one-third is paid after everything is completed and up-and-running.
From target markets to website conceptual design
For starters, we can help you identify potential markets and your marketing approach and presentation as an Affiliate.
If you already know friends and associates who may want a new website or to upgrade their old website, then one of them can be a first customer exercise. Alternatively, you can be your own first customer with your own website.
